About this site

This website is a freewill project aimed at immortalizing Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi.

While browsing the Nairaland forum this afternoon I read with shock the passing away of this great and highly detribalized Nigerian and of course made comments on the news.

As more beautiful comments about our hero continued to be submitted someone asked if their was a way to sign a condolence register for this great man.

After thinking about the question I simply decided to develop a dedicated website to celebrate this man and to show the world that indeed Nigerians know who their heroes are.

I spent about 5 hours putting up this site from registering the domain name to writing the relevant programs, database stuff and uploaded everything to the web. This is perhaps the most fulfilling 5 hours I have ever spent developing a website.

This project is not a commercial project and as such will remain free to use and free from any form of paid advertisement.
