Gani’s last three wishes
The late Gani Fawehinimi, human rights lawyer and activist, had three requests before he died, according to a family member.
1. He requested that no state funds be used in association with his burial
2. He asked for a public burial — one where the community could be involved
3. He requested to be buried in a transparent casket
